This Lightning superstar forward was picked first in the All-Star player draft.
The NHL All-Star Game festivities have officially begun, as the fantasy draft for the event is now complete. Tampa Bay Lightning superstar forward Nikita Kucherov has found his home for the event, and without much surprise, he found it very early.
Kucherov was selected first overall in the All-Star Game draft by the Hughes brothers, Elias Pettersson, and singer Michael Buble. Given how dominant he has been this season, this selection is entirely warranted.
Kucherov, 30, currently has 32 goals, 53 assists, and a league-leading 85 points in just 49 games played this season. He is on pace to have the best season of his career, and he is in the running for several top awards because of it.

The 2024 NHL All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 3 at 3:00 pm ET. You can also check out Kucherov during the skills competition on Feb. 2 at 7:00 pm ET.
