McMann played 10 games with the Maple Leafs last season, tallying one assist and having several chances to score his first NHL goal.

Bobby McMann is back up with the Maple Leafs.

The 27-year-old was recalled from the Marlies on Saturday morning, with Pontus Holmberg being sent back down to the AHL.

McMann has two goals and an assist through six games with the Marlies this season. He plays with a lot of strength and speed, plus he has a great shot, which is heavily needed on a struggling Maple Leafs fourth line at the moment.

The 27-year-old will replace Ryan Reaves in the lineup against the Vancouver Canucks, Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe told the media on Saturday morning.

Reaves has 41.24 xGF% at five-on-five through 14 games this season, per NaturalStatTrick.com. He's been on the ice for zero goals for and 11 goals against, only behind William Nylander for the most goals given up at five-on-five on the Maple Leafs.

John Klingberg, after missing Friday's game against the Calgary Flames as he works through injuries, is back in the lineup Saturday vs. the Canucks, Keefe said.

It's unknown as of right now who Klingberg will replace as Toronto held an optional morning skate prior to the second half of back-to-back games.

The 31-year-old defenseman has struggled a fair bit this season with the Maple Leafs. He has the lowest xGF% (41.18) among Toronto defensemen at five-on-five through 13 games, per NaturalStatTrick.com.

"I think when I’ve really really been struggling I think it’s when you’re trying to do too much," Klingberg said after practice on Thursday. "I told myself not to do that this time and just let the game come to me. But at the same time, I have to find ways to contribute both with the puck and without the puck as well."

    Where to watch

In Canada, the game will be nationally broadcasted on Sportsnet. In the United States, you can stream the matchup on ESPN+. For the rest of the world, the game can be found on NHL.TV.
