It's the return of Ryan O'Reilly and Luke Schenn in Toronto.
The 32-year-old is will play his first game inside Scotiabank Arena for the first time since leaving the Maple Leafs this past summer. O'Reilly, who signed a four-year, $18 million deal with the Nashville Predators in July, had 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) in his 24 games with Toronto.
Schenn is also returning to Scotiabank Arena. He was another big piece of the Maple Leafs' puzzle to getting out of the first round this past spring. The 34-year-old defenseman signed a three-year deal worth $8.25 million with Nashville in July.
It was Schenn's second time around in Toronto, though, after being drafted fifth-overall by the team back in 2008. He was later traded in the summer of 2012. Schenn missed the first few weeks of the season due to a lower-body injury he suffered after playing only one game this year.
The Maple Leafs are coming off a 4-3 over the Ottawa Senators on Thursday which saw Joseph Woll leave the game with an injury in the third period. Martin Jones came in for relief, stopping nine of 10 shots against the Senators.
It was announced on Saturday morning, prior to the Maple Leafs' morning skate, that Woll is out week-to-week with a high-ankle sprain.
With that being said, it appears as though Ilya Samsonov and Jones will be Toronto's goaltending duo for the foreseeable future.
A positive sign from the Maple Leafs' win on Thursday in Ottawa was that all four lines had a goal (William Nylander, Mitch Marner, Calle Jarnkrok, and David Kampf). Toronto will hope to keep that up on Saturday against a Predators team that's just two points behind them.
Lineup changes are expected to come following the morning skate.
For those in Canada, you'll be able to catch the game nationally on Sportsnet. In the United States, Bally Sports South will have the game, as well as NHL Network. The rest of the world can stream the game on NHL Live.
