Noah Gregor wants to remain with the Toronto Maple Leafs next season.
The 25-year-old forward, who had six goals and six assists in 63 games while playing in a bottom-six role with Toronto, is a restricted free agent at the end of this season. On Friday, Gregor appeared on Leafs Morning Take with Nick Alberga and Jay Rosehill and said he'd be open to a return.
"Yeah, 100 percent. I loved my time in Toronto. It's a little out of my control right now, I'm still restricted (free agent) so it'll be up to (Brad) Treliving and the staff there to see if I work with the team moving forward," Gregor said.
"But I loved my time in Toronto. I want to be back. I want to continue to help this team in the playoffs, and like I said, eventually have a chance at winning a cup because I think we have all the pieces here that can do it and I'd love to have a chance at doing that."

Gregor appeared in two games for the Maple Leafs in their first-round series against the Boston Bruins and did not register a point. The forward's qualifying offer is $813,750 and he's also arbitration-eligible this summer.
Nick Robertson, Connor Dewar — both who played left wing under Sheldon Keefe this past season — and Timothy Liljegren are Toronto's other RFA's this summer. Plus, with the rise of Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan this season, who could steal a spot on the roster next fall, Gregor's future in Toronto remains in question.
The forward signed a PTO with Toronto in early September after the San Jose Sharks elected to not qualify Gregor in late June. After impressing during Maple Leafs training camp, he was awarded a one-year, $775,000 contract.
Gregor, a fourth-round pick (111th overall) in the 2016 NHL Draft, has 32 goals and 31 assists for 63 points in 241 career NHL games.
