The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced their rosters for both pre-season games against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will be taking on the Montreal Canadiens in split-squad games, one at the Bell Centre in Montreal and the other at Scotiabank Arena.
The team released their lineup for both games, with the home outing consisting of the star players.
Playing at Scotiabank Arena will be the likes of Auston Matthews, John Tavares, William Nylander and Matthew Knies.
On top of that, many of the big-name additions from the off-season will also be featuring in this home affair. Sergei Bobrovsky will be the starting goaltender for the Leafs, but likely won't play the full game, per head coach Jim Hiller.
Darren Raddysh and Emil Andrae will be on the back end. And up front, Jack Roslovic, Zack MacEwen and Gavin McKenna will be wearing the Maple Leafs uniform for the first time.
Tinus Luc Koblar, Harry Nansi and Ben Danford will also appear in the home game for Toronto, as the prospects of this contest.
The away game in Montreal will include more of the bottom-six forward group and plenty of members of the Toronto Marlies. Easton Cowan is among the headliners for that squad, as well as Oliver Ekman-Larsson and the new faces such as Colton Sissons, Nick Paul, Brandon Duhaime, Brendan Brisson and Teddy Blueger. Nick Blankenburg, who is on a PTO with the Maple Leafs, will also feature on the back end at the Bell Centre.
In goal, Artur Akhtyamov, Ken Appleby and Samuel Hlavaj will be available.
The Canadiens revealed their roster for both games as well. Montreal's "Group B" is the roster that will take on Toronto at Scotiabank Arena. The Habs' "Group A" will remain in Montreal.
Puck drop will be at 7 p.m. EST for both contests.
