The Canadian Pizza chain becomes the second-ever helmet sponsor for the Maple Leafs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman has struggled through his first 13 games of the season. Head coach Sheldon Keefe says the player is injured and working through some things.

An Ontario-created pizza chain will be on the helmets of the Toronto Maple Leafs for home games this season.

According to the Toronto Star's Kevin McGran, the Maple Leafs will have the Pizza Pizza logo on their helmets for all home games for the rest of the 2023-24 season.

"Leafs to unveil Pizza Pizza tonight as a helmet sponsor for home games," McGran posted on X on Tuesday morning. "Replaces TikTok."

This is the second-ever helmet sponsor the Maple Leafs have had. Toronto first began wearing the TikTok logo on their helmet at the beginning of the 2021-22 season, when it first became allowed to sell it as advertising space.

The team wore the TikTok logo all preseason before shedding it for their home opener against the Montreal Canadiens. Ahead of the 2022-23 season, the Maple Leafs unveiled that they would have the Dairy Farmers of Ontario logo, 'Milk' as a jersey sponsorship patch.

Pizza Pizza was founded in December 1967, and its headquarters is in Toronto. They have restaurants throughout Canada, but mainly in Ontario, with others in Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Western Canada.
