Last night against the St. Louis Blues, he scored a goal to give him 30 goals on the year. Not only did he hit the 30-goal mark, he also hit the 60-assist mark, and ultimately the 90-point mark for the first time in his career.
He has set a career high in points and assists, however, fell short of his career high in goals by seven. He had 37 goals in the 2022-23 season with the then-Arizona Coyotes.
Keller has had a phenomenal year in Utah's inaugural season. He played very well with Nick Schmaltz, who also had a career year, while also being a leader on and off the ice.
As the team captain, the responsibility often falls on you. But being the captain in a season where your team just moved to a new city and played in front of new fans, Keller stepped up and showed that he is an elite-caliber player.
Which is something to build off of and add to this off-season to make their team better and more competitive going forward.
