

Utah Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka will represent Czechia at the 2025 World Championships in May. He will be representing Czechia for the fourth straight year, which saw him win gold on home soil last year in Prague.
It had been reported for days, but yesterday it was made official that he will join his country and attempt to defend their championship that they won last year.
Vejmelka, 28, played in 58 games for Utah this season, earning a 26-22-8 record with a 2.58 goals-against average (GAA) and a .904 save percentage (SV%). He also started 23 straight games, and 24 of his team's last 25 games.
The IIHF World Championships will run from May 9-25, in both Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark.

Utah Hockey Club's Logan Cooley has confirmed that he will play for Team USA at the World Championships in May.
Vejmelka will be playing against fellow teammates Logan Cooley, Clayton Keller, and Michael Kesselring, who will be representing Team USA.
At this time, there aren't any more players from Utah going overseas, however, Team Canada has yet to release their roster. Which could still see Lawson Crouse, Dylan Guenther, or Jack McBain playing for them.
