Utah Hockey Club's Logan Cooley has confirmed that he will play for Team USA at the World Championships in May.

There was some speculation that he was going to play, however, on locker cleanup day, he spoke with the media and told them he was “still deciding.”

Today, he confirmed that he will join his teammate Clayton Keller and represent his country at the Worlds.

No rosters have been official yet, but some big names have committed to playing for Team USA. The list includes Cutter Gauthier, Will Smith, and there has been some talk about the possibility of Dustin Wolf and Jeremy Swayman joining the roster.

Cooley's teammate Michael Kesselring may also be joining them at the Worlds for Team USA.

Utah will have a few other names to watch at the Worlds: Dylan Guenther for Team Canada, Karel Vejmelka for Czechia, and it wouldn't be surprising if there were a few more names that committed in the coming weeks.
