Now that the 2025 IIHF World Championship is into its second week, it’s time to take a look at how the Utah Mammoth players are doing. In Week 1, it looked like the Mammoth players were the best of the bunch, so let’s see if they’ve been able to keep that going into Week 2.

Let’s start with Team USA. There are four players from Utah on the American roster, and they’ve all had different impacts so far. The team leaders in points are Logan Cooley, who has three goals and four assists for seven points, and Clayton Keller, who has two goals and five assists for seven points as well.

Michael Kesselring has chipped in with two assists and has a +5 rating through five games. Josh Doan, on the other hand, has struggled. He’s played in three games and has yet to record a point.

Next up is Barrett Hayton and Team Canada. He’s been decent in the tournament so far with a goal and an assist, a +3 rating, and 10 shots on goal in four games.

Karel Vejmelka and defending champion Czechia have been solid. Vejmelka has played in two games and is 2-0 with a 2.50 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage, stopping 38 of the 43 shots he’s faced.

Lastly, Maksymilian Szuber and Germany. He’s been the quietest of all the Utah players. Szuber has played in all five games but hasn’t recorded a point. He does have eight shots on net.

With the tournament getting closer to the medal rounds, it looks like all four teams that Mammoth players are representing will be making it through.
