Utah Hockey Club’s captain Clayton Keller has confirmed he’ll be playing for Team USA at the upcoming World Championships.
Keller just wrapped up his first season with Utah, finishing with an impressive 90 points.
The World Championships run during the second and third rounds of the NHL playoffs. This year’s tournament will take place in Sweden and Denmark from May 9 to May 25, 2025.
Keller is the first Utah player to officially commit, but there’s speculation that Logan Cooley could join Team USA as well.
There’s also a chance that Dylan Guenther or Lawson Crouse suit up for Team Canada, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
