The NHL is announcing its All-Star Game rosters tomorrow, and the Vancouver Canucks should have five players.

    1. Quinn Hughes

Is there any doubt Quinn Hughes will head to Toronto? Absolutely not. Hughes is the NHL's leader in points by a defenseman with 46. Hughes has had a Hart Trophy-level season for the Canucks.

Hughes raised the eyebrows of Wayne Gretzky at the 2020 All-Star game.

Hughes should be the favorite for the Norris Trophy.

    2. Thatcher Demko

Thatcher Demko has returned to Vezina form. Demko has been stellar all season, with a record of 18-7-1, .917 save %, and 2.48 GAA.

He has backstopped the Canucks into first place in the Pacific Division and once again solidified himself as a top-ten goalie in the NHL.

He is an elite goalie and should be considered for starting for Team USA at a best-on-best international tournament.

    3. Elias Pettersson

Elias Pettersson is quietly going about his business and quickly putting up points. Pettersson's 15 goals and 30 assists put him 10th in the NHL's scoring race.

Against the Ottawa Senators last night, Pettersson buried two goals. He has become an elite talent in the NHL and should be an all-star every season.

While Hughes has taken much of the media attention away from Pettersson, he is still an elite talent.

    4. J.T. Miller

J.T. Miller has 50 points in 37 games this season. He is the Canucks leading scorer and has become a powerplay point machine. 22 of his 50 points have come on the man advantage.

His commitment to the entire ice has helped him as well. He is +13 this season after finishing -7 last season. Canucks coach Rick Tocchet has gotten the most out of Miller, and he should be rewarded with Miller making the All-Star team.

    5. Brock Boeser

Last but not least is Brock Boeser. Boeser is tied for 3rd in the NHL goalscoring race with 24. Boeser has completely revitalized his Vancouver Canucks career and become a fan favorite yet again.

Boeser is on pace to shatter his career-high goals of 29 he set in 2017-18. He has rivaled Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews for the league lead in goals.

Boeser should be a no-brainer to join the rest of his teammates in Toronto next month.

The NHL is announcing 32 all-stars tomorrow, with the fans being able to vote in the remaining 12.

All-Star weekend will take place from Feb. 1-3.
