From end-of-season awards to which jersey the Canucks should wear come playoff time, here is what fans had to say at the 2024 All-Star break.

Welcome to this edition of the Vancouver Canucks fan survey results. In this article, we take a look at how the fans feel about the Canucks season at the All-Star break. Based on the results, it is clear that fans are excited and already looking forward to a long playoff run.
The results of this question were astounding, as 100% of fans answered yes. It is hard to argue with the job that Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin have done this season. Whether it is bringing in the right players or hiring coaches who have had a positive impact on the team, their hard work has resulted in Vancouver becoming one of the league's best in 2023-24.
As we now know, the answer to this question is yes, as the Canucks pulled off a blockbuster to acquire Elias Lindholm. As this survey came out before the trade, 22% said the team would not make a blockbuster trade this season, while 78% said yes. With plenty of trade rumours swirling, the question now is, will they make a second one over the next month?
Fans are pretty optimistic about Vancouver's pursuit of a first-ever Pacific Division title. 83% said the Canucks would win the division, while only 17% said no. With a seven-point over the Vegas Golden Knights and a game in hand, it would take a massive drop-off for Vancouver to fall out of first place by the end of the season.
83% of fans from the survey believe the Canucks will with their third President's Trophy in franchise history. Currently tied with the Boston Bruins in points, they will most likely need to surpass the 120-point mark if they want to be crowned regular season champions. With a heavy home schedule upcoming, this is possible as Vancouver is one of the best teams at home in the NHL.
When it came to this question, 54% of the vote went to two Canucks winning awards at the end of the season. The results were three with 21%, one with 17% and four plus with 8%. With plenty of candidates, including Rick Tocchet for the Jack Adams, Quinn Hughes for the Norris and Allvin for General Manager of the Year, it is safe to say Vancouver will be well represented at the NHL awards this year.
88% of voters believe J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson will finish above 100 points this season. As for the rest of the votes, it was a three-way tie between neither, just Miller and just Pettersson, which all received 4 of the vote%. With both on pace for over 100 points, it could be the first time in franchise history multiple players have surpassed the century mark in the same season.
Like Pettersson and Miller, voters are confident Hughes will join the 100-point club this season. Yes got 96% of the vote, while only 4% voted no. On pace for 104 points, Hughes is looking to become the seventh defenceman in NHL history to hit 100 points in a season.
Voters are also excited about the possibility of a 50-goal season from Brock Boeser. 83% said he would hit the 50-goal mark, while only 17% said no. On pace for exactly 50, you know his teammates will be rooting for him to hit the milestone as the season winds down.
92% of voters believe Thatcher Demko will become the second goaltender in franchise history to hit the 40-win mark in a season. With 33 games left, he has plenty of time to get the 14 wins needed to hit the milestone. One of the best goaltenders in the league, a 40-win season would guarantee Demko finishes as a finalist for the Vezina Trophy.
"Where the Streets Have No Name" has a special place in Vancouver playoff history. It was used as the entrance song for many years, but most remember it being played during the 2011 Stanley Cup Final run. While this vote was close, 67% believe it should be used for this year's playoff, compared to 33% who think the Canucks should go with a different song. Regardless of which song they choose, Rogers Arena will be electric this spring as it hosts Vancouver playoff hockey for the first since 2015.
The last question on the survey was which jersey the Canucks should wear this postseason. With 96% of the vote, fans believe the black skate should be used in the 2024 playoffs, while 4% chose the blue orca. With a 10-1-0 record this season while wearing the black skate, it may be the right move in the end, as the jersey has become a favourite among both the players and the fans.
