Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby sang the praises of the Vancouver Canucks while meeting with the media at the 2024 All-Star weekend.
Crosby was asked by Adam Laskaris about the Canucks having six all-star players represent their team; he went on to talk about the terrific job that head coach Rick Tocchet is doing as well as President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford.
Crosby has history playing for Rutherford. Rutherford was heading the Penguins organization when they won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2015 & 2016.
Crosby did not attend last night's player draft as he was in Montana. Videos have surfaced of him skating on a beautiful outdoor rink. This was Crosby's first appearance in front of the media in Toronto for the All-Star festivities.
Colorado Avalanche superstar Nathan MacKinnon selected Crosby with his first pick in the player draft.
