The Vancouver Canucks head to TD Garden to take on the Boston Bruins.

The Vancouver Canucks (10-6-3) continue their six-game road trip with a stop at TD Garden to face the Boston Bruins (10-9-3). This game will feature plenty of familiar faces, such as Jake DeBrusk, Danton Heinen, Nikita Zadorov, and Elias Lindholm, who will take on the teams they played for in 2023-24. While 2011 is a distant memory at this point, this matchup should feature plenty of intensity as well as physicality.

Vancouver should receive a massive boost for this game as Brock Boeser is projected to make his return to the lineup. Boeser has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury after taking a dangerous hit from L.A. Kings Tanner Jeannot. Expected to play on a line with Teddy Blueger and Heinen, Boeser should have an impact both at even strength and on the power play.

    Players to Watch:

    Jake DeBrusk:

After a seven-year career that lasted 465 regular season games, DeBrusk returns to Boston for the first time since signing with the Canucks this offseason. This should be an emotional game for DeBrusk as there will most likely be some sort of tribute during the night, honouring his time with the Bruins. If he can channel that emotion into a strong performance, it should lead to a successful night for Vancouver.

    Nikita Zadorov:

While his time with the Canucks was short, Zadorov became a fan favourite in Vancouver. From his strong playoff performances to his dynamite quotes, he was a player who played a significant role for the Canucks last season. If he can play like he did during the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, he is going to be a handful for Vancouver all night.
