Sawyer Mynio, Kirill Kudryavtsev, and Danila Klimovich will all make their 2024 pre-season debuts against the Seattle Kraken.

There will be plenty of prospects in the lineup Friday night as the Vancouver Canucks travel to Seattle for their third game of the 2024 pre-season. Prospects making their 2024 pre-season debuts include forward Danila Klimovich as well as defencemen Sawyer Mynio and Kirill Kudryavtsev. The game in Seattle will be a homecoming in a way for Mynio, who, after the pre-season, will return to the WHL's Seattle Thunderbirds, where he has played the last three seasons. 

Tonight's game will also be the debut of newly signed goaltender Kevin Lankinen. The 29-year-old signed a one-year contract with the Canucks during Training Camp and will be competing with Artūrs Šilovs for the backup job once Thatcher Demko returns from injury. Over his 112-game NHL career, Lankinen has a 45-43-12 record while posting a save percentage of .905 and a goals-against average of 3.07.

Unfortunately, tonight's game will not be televised but will be available via stream on the Canucks website. This will be the second time Vancouver and Seattle meet in the pre-season, with the Canucks taking the first game 3-1 at Rogers Arena. Game time is set for 7:00 pm PT from Climate Pledge Arena.
