A look ahead at four marquee matchups for the Canucks in February.

Despite February being the shortest month of the year, the Vancouver Canucks will be busy with 13 games in 23 days. Included are a five-game Eastern road swing, multiple battles against top-ten teams and a visit from Sidney Crosby. Here is a look at four marquee matchups Canuck fans should ensure they tune in over this month.
Vancouver's first game out of the All-Star break will be intriguing as Elias Lindholm makes his Canucks debut. He will most likely start on a line with Elias Pettersson and Ilya Mikheyev, allowing head coach Rick Tocchet to create a more balanced top six. While it may take a few games for him to get settled, his addition to the team should be beneficial, especially come playoff time.
A potential preview of the Western Conference Final will take on Feb. 17 when the Winnipeg Jets come to town. With a projected star-studded goaltending matchup between Thatcher Demko and Connor Hellebuyck, this game will most likely be a low-scoring affair that will test how well Vancouver's defensive structure is. Expect plenty of interest in this game as it will be broadcast nationwide on Hockey Night in Canada.
The Canucks and Boston Bruins play twice this month, with the second meeting coming at Rogers Arena on Feb. 24. A highly anticipated matchup that could be a preview of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final, Vancouver will be looking to make a statement against the top team in the East. There should be plenty of booing when Brad Marchand touches the puck, as fans will express their dislike of the Bruins' captain from start to finish.
It is always a special occasion when Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins come to town. Not only will fans get the chance to see future Hall of Famers like Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang and Erik Karlsson, but also Jake Guentzel, who the Canucks have been rumoured to be interested in ahead of the 2024 trade deadline. With Pittsburgh fighting for a playoff spot, expect the Penguins to come out strong as they look to enact some revenge on Vancouver for beating them earlier this season.
