The Vancouver Canucks have traded Daniel Sprong to the Seattle Kraken for future considerations.
Sprong signed a one-year deal worth $975K and has one goal and two assists in nine games. The winger played just 9:32 over 11 shifts against the Los Angeles Kings on Nov. 7. That comes on the heels of Brock Boeser leaving the game in the first period after taking a hit from Tanner Jeannot.
The Kraken re-acquire Sprong for the second time in their franchise's history. In 22-23, the former second-round pick had a career-high 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists) in 66 games.
Dakota Joshua has been on the verge of returning, and this move opens a roster spot for him in the lineup.
