Vancouver will be looking to break their three-game losing streak to the Rangers on Monday night.

The Vancouver Canucks (25-11-3) travel to Madison Square Garden on Monday night for a highly anticipated matchup against the New York Rangers (26-10-2). This battle will feature two of the top four teams in the NHL, with each having a chance to hit 55 points on the season. Vancouver will also be looking to break a three-game losing streak to New York, which includes an overtime loss from earlier this season.

Tonight's game will be the perfect opportunity for the Canucks to compare themselves to a Stanley Cup contender. The Rangers' offence hits in waves, and Vancouver can't sit back even if they have the lead. It will be a tough matchup, but one that should help gauge where the Canucks are as they play their first game in the past two months with a fully healthy lineup.

Players to Watch

Ian Cole

With Carson Soucy and Nikita Zadorov back in the lineup, Vancouver has moved Ian Cole to the right side. While Cole has played on the right side before, there are always questions when a defender is forced to play on the opposite side. Playing against a powerhouse New York team, this will be an excellent opportunity to see if this experiment works or if the Canucks will need to make some moves before the trade deadline.

Chris Kreider

Chris Kreider may be one of the most underrated players in the NHL. He continually delivers for the Rangers and is one of two skaters to hit the 20-goal mark this season. Currently on a three-game point streak versus Vancouver, do not be surprised to see him on the scoresheet at the end of the game.
