The Vancouver Canucks have placed three players on waivers.
Following their second pre-season game, the Vancouver Canucks have placed three players on waivers. If they clear waivers, all three will be eligible to be assigned to the Abbotsford Canucks on September 24. The three players are Cole Clayton, Trey Fix-Wolansky and Jimmy Schuldt.
Clayton is in his second season with the organization. The 26-year-old defenceman joined Abbotsford last year in the Kiefer Sherwood trade. In 32 games with the AHL Canucks, Clayton recorded six assists and 27 penalty minutes.
As for Fix-Wolansky, he was signed this off-season by Vancouver. The 27-year-old forward scored 31 goals and recorded 55 points in 72 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack. Over his career, Fix-Wolansky has played in 361 AHL games and recorded 314 points.
Finally, Schuldt joined the organization in 2025 as a free agent signing. The 31-year-old defender scored three goals while recording 18 points in 70 games with Abbotsford last year. Schuldt has played 424 career AHL regular-season games, recording 147 points.
