Canucks Prospect Rogowski Named Assistant Captain In The OHL

Brooks Rogowski's jersey will look a little different in the OHL this year. The Vancouver Canucks prospect was named an assistant captain for the Oshawa Generals' 2026-27 campaign. Rogowsi is currently in Penticton at Vancouver's 2026 Training Camp. 

Along with Rogowski, Brady Murnane will also wear an "A" for Oshawa. As for their captain, that will be Harrison Franssen. The Generals kicked off their 2026-27 season on Friday, defeating the Brampton Steelheads 3-2. 

Last year, Rogowski recorded 42 points in 46 games with Oshawa. He impressed scouts from all across the NHL, with the Canucks selecting him 33rd overall in June. Listed at 6'7", 235 lbs, Rogowski has committed to Michigan State University for the 2027-28 campaign.
