
Vancouver Canucks prospect Wilson Björck has been selected for Team Sweden's 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase Roster. This year's tournament will take place from July 25-August 2 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis and at the University of Minnesota. The annual tournament features Team Canada, Finland, USA and Sweden, and is used to evaluate players for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.
Björck was one of 14 forwards selected to participate for Sweden in this event. The 2025 fifth round pick will be joined by his brother, Viggo Björck as well as former Canucks prospect Melvin Fernström. Also included on Sweden's roster are 2025 third overall pick, Anton Frondell and Ivar Stenberg, who is a top prospect heading into the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.

Throughout his career, Björck has represented Sweden multiple times in international competitions. He played in the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, where he recorded one point in four games. Next season, Björck is headed to the NCAA, where he will join Colorado College.
