The Vancouver Canucks' training camp will officially return to Penticton, BC, as the organization announced today that the city will host the team's 2025 Training Camp from September 18 to 21. This comes after the city hosted training camp the season prior, with Victoria, BC, hosting back in 2023. Camp will take place at the South Okanagan Events Centre with more details to be released closer to.
“We couldn’t be happier with our decision to return to Penticton this fall,” Canucks President of Hockey Operations, Jim Rutherford, said in a statement released by the team. “The facilities are first rate, the fan support is fantastic and our players, coaches and staff all love what the Okanagan has to offer.”
In previous seasons, Vancouver's training camp has followed the Young Stars tournament — a prospect showcase that pits players from the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets, and Canucks against one-another. However, earlier in the 2024-25 season, Vancouver announced they would be taking part in a different prospect activity, choosing instead to partner with the Seattle Kraken for a two-game rookie showcase.
