The Vancouver Canucks will play their 2026-27 season home-opener on October 1 against the Edmonton Oilers.
Two games of the Vancouver Canucks' 2026-27 regular season schedule has been revealed.
Via social media earlier today, the team announced that they will be playing their first home game of the 2026-27 season on October 1 at 7:00 pm PT against the Edmonton Oilers.
This is the first time that Vancouver will play the Oilers for their home-opener since the 2023-24 season, as they have opened both the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons at home against the Calgary Flames.
Vancouver has opened their regular season on home-ice for the past three seasons, though this streak will not continue into the 2026-27 season. The Canucks will officially open the 2026-27 season on the road by taking on the Oilers in Edmonton on September 29.
The Canucks closed out their 2025-26 season against Edmonton on April 16, losing by a score of 6-1.
The full 2026-27 NHL schedule will be released tomorrow, July 16, at 10:00 am PT.
