The National League recently wrapped up their 2025-26 regular season.

A former Vancouver Canucks forward is impressing over in the National League. Thanks to a four-point game, Markus Granlund has finished with the most points during the 2025-26 regular season. The National League is based in Switzerland, with Granlund playing for Genève-Servette HC.

Granlund finished the season with 54 points in 49 games. He narrowly beat out  HC Davos' Matej Stransky, who finished with 53 points. Granlund last played for Vancouver in 2019 and has since bounced around between the NHL, KHL and NL.

The NL is full of former Canucks players. Jimmy Vesey was teammates with Granlund this season, while other memorable names include Erik Brännström, Yannick Weber and Nicklas Jensen. Vancouver also has a prospect currently playing in the NL, as Lausanne HC is home to 2024 seventh-rounder Basile Sansonnens.
