Former Vancouver Canucks goalie Eddie Lack posted a video jokingly saying he's ready to play for the injured Thatcher Demko.

Former Vancouver Canucks goalie Eddie Lack posted a video jokingly saying he's ready to play for the injured Thatcher Demko.

Lack, now retired, started his NHL career with the Canucks during the 2013-14 season. Lack was undrafted and played 82 games with Vancouver. He had a .917 save % and a 2.43 GAA in his two seasons.

Lack played four playoff games for Vancouver in 2014-15. He went 1-3 with a 3.03 GAA and a .886 save %.

He was one of the last goalies to play at Rodgers Arena the last time the Canucks were in the playoffs in 2015. After four games, Ryan Miller took over in the crease. Lack is one of the few goaltenders in the last decade who know what type of atmosphere Rodgers Arena has during the postseason.

Lack won't play, but as far as Demko's injury goes, the few updates that have been released aren't encouraging.

Casey DeSmith will start for the Canucks tonight. This will be his second career playoff game.
