Nikita Tolopilo starts his 11th game of the season while Evander Kane returns to the lineup as the Vancouver Canucks face the Nashville Predators.

The Vancouver Canucks will play in their second of an eight-game home stand when they take on the Nashville Predators later tonight. Coming off a solid effort on Monday despite taking a 2–0 loss against the Ottawa Senators, Vancouver is expected to have their lines slightly mixed up as Evander Kane draws back in. Here are the lineup notes for March 12, 2026.

Since the Canucks had an optional morning skate today, tonight’s projected lines have been drawn from those seen during the team’s practice on Wednesday. With Kane slotting back in, it was Nils Höglander who skated as Vancouver’s 13th forward and is expected to be healthy-scratched today. Canucks Head Coach Adam Foote confirmed after practice that Kane will rejoin the lineup in Höglander's place.

Expected in goal tonight is Nikita Tolopilo, whose last start came on March 6 in a 6–3 win against the Chicago Blackhawks. Tonight will mark his 11th start of the 2025–26 season and the 12th of his NHL career. Kevin Lankinen has started Vancouver’s last two games, registering two strong performances despite the team losing both.

Projected Lineup:

Kane – Pettersson – O’Connor
Öhgren – Rossi – Boeser
Sasson – Blueger – Karlsson
Douglas – Räty – DeBrusk

E. Pettersson – Hronek
M. Pettersson – Willander
