Four of the five November home games for the Vancouver Canucks will feature either a former player or coach.

After a tough October, the Vancouver Canucks will be looking for some stability as the calendar flips to November. Vancouver is set to play 13 games this month, with five taking place at Rogers Arena. This month will also feature an 8:00 pm start time, as BC no longer participates in daylight saving time.

November should be called the month of exes, as a former Canucks player or coach from the 2024 playoff team visits Rogers Arena in four of the five games. The only exception is November 3, which is a game against the Anaheim Ducks. Here is a look at who is returning to Rogers Arena in November.

The first ex returning to Rogers Arena is Rick Tocchet on November 9. Vancouver's former Head Coach left the organization in 2025 to take over behind the bench for the Philadelphia Flyers. This year has not gone well for Tocchet and the Flyers, as they have started the season 4-8-4 and rank near the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

Just a few days later, J.T. Miller and the New York Rangers are in town for a Friday night battle. November 13 will also be the return of Marcus Pettersson, who was traded this past off-season. After a strong start, the Rangers have faltered a bit and currently sit with a record of 7-7-1.

After hitting the road for a few games, the Canucks return to welcome Quinn Hughes and the Minnesota Wild on November 21. Fans in Vancouver made their feelings about Hughes known in October when he made his first visit to Rogers Arena, and might have something similar in store this month. As expected, the Wild are near the top of the standings with a 10-3-3 record to start the campaign.

Finally, Ian Cole and the Chicago Blackhawks make their first visit of the season to Rogers Arena on November 22. This game is looking like a tank battle, as the Canucks and Blackhawks sit at the bottom of the standings. Chicago visiting also means a chance to watch some BC talent in Conor Bedard and Bowen Byram.
