Tonight, in their first game of a back-to-back against the Calgary Wranglers, Abbotsford hopes to extend their win streak to 14. This is the last weekend that Abbotsford will be in town until the Calder Cup Playoffs, the starting date of which is not known yet. Right now, they’re only four points away from surpassing the Colorado Eagles for first in the Pacific Division. If they are able to clinch the Pacific Division, they’ll receive a bye during the three-game first round. Even if they remain in second place by the end of the 2024–25 regular season, Abbotsford will still gain home-ice advantage in the first round.
