    On the third day of the 2025 IIHF World Championship, it was Vancouver Canucks forward Conor Garland who stole the show for Team USA. As well as Garland, two other Canucks took part in today's World Championship matchups. Keep reading to see how he and the other Canucks fared during today’s games.

    USA 6, Hungary 0

    Garland, Drew O’Connor, and Team USA took down Hungary in a dominant 6-0 win earlier today. The USA assistant captain had a goal and an assist on the game-winning goal, while also adding five shots on net in 13:11 minutes played. He also got into a tussle with Hungarian Krisztian Nagy near the end of the first period. O’Connor had one shot on goal in 13:31 minutes on ice. 

    Czechia 2, Norway 1

    Filip Hronek and Czechia managed to squeeze a win out of their close match with Norway. Czechia’s game-winning goal was scored by David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins, which Hronek got a secondary assist on. He also registered one shot on goal and played a second-highest 22:37 minutes for Team Czechia.
