Ty Mueller is the only Canucks prospect nominated for the Hobey Baker Award this season.
The 2024 Hobey Baker Award fan ballot is officially open, with Ty Mueller among the candidates. The Vancouver Canucks 2023 fourth-round pick was one of 80 players selected and is the only player from the University of Nebraska-Omaha up for selection. This is the second consecutive season Mueller has been nominated for the award as he looks to make the top ten for the first time in his career.
So far this season, Mueller leads the University of Nebraska-Omaha in scoring with 19 points in 22 games. Currently playing in his junior season, the 20-year-old has 57 points through 80 career NCAA games. At the time of the announcement, he was on a four-game point streak, which included a three-point game against the University of North Dakota on Jan. 12. The Mavericks currently have an 11-9-2 record on the year and currently sit seventh in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
Fans can vote for Mueller here, with the top-ten announcement coming in late March.
