Vancouver Canucks prospects that play in the NCAA are taking on the yearly tradition of March Madness.
The Canucks currently have ten prospects in the NCAA who are all participating in their conference tourneys.
Top prospects like Tom Willander, Jack Malone, and Jackson Kunz look to finish their seasons strong.
Tom Willander and Aiden Celebrini are in the Big East Conference tournament semifinals, playing for Boston University. BU is the No. 2 seed in the tournament, and because of its high ranking, it earned a first-round bye.
BU took down Northeastern and now faces Maine. If they win, they will take on either Boston College or Massachusetts.
Jack Malone plays for Boston College, the Big East's No. 1 seed. This season, he scored 11 goals and added ten assists.
Celebrini and Willander eliminated Jackson Dorrington and Northeastern in the quarter-finals. He had 12 points in 33 games.
Northeastern eliminated Christian Felton and Merrimack in the first round.
Jacob Truscott plays for the University of Michigan. The young defenseman will play in the tournament's final against state rival Michigan State on March 23rd. The winner of that game will advance to the national NCAA Tournament.
Daimon Gardiner was bounced from the first round of the ECAC Tourney while playing for Clarkson.
They were the fifth seed and lost to Rensselaer. Gardiner had one goal and five assists in 29 games this season.
Jackson Kunz is playing for North Dakota, the NCHC's No. 1 seed in the tournament. ND defeated Miami University in the first round.
Kunz had 17 points in 35 games this season.
Finally, Denver University bounced Matthew Perkins and Minnesota Duluth in the first round.
The national NCAA Tournament starts on March 28th, and the Frozen Four begins on March 30th.
