In a rare afternoon game, the Vegas Golden Knights will travel to California to take on their division rival San Jose Sharks.

The Golden Knights have dropped their previous two games against the Minnesota Wild and the Carolina Hurricanes but have a golden opportunity to bounce back against a Sharks team that sits in second last place.

This is the final matchup between the two teams that has seen the Golden Knights win the first three games.

Jonathan Marchessault opened the scoring against the Hurricanes scoring his 28th goal of the season. Marchessault is on a three-game goal streak and has scored the opening goal in those three games. He now sits two goals shy of matching his career high of 30 with 28 games remaining.

Adin Hill is the projected starter and would be playing in his fifth consecutive game despite losing his last two.

The Golden Knights will get a look at Anthony Duclair once again. The Golden Knights have been rumoured to be interested in the Sharks forward.
