Vegas has won three in a row, as it begins its last road trip before the NHL All-Star break
The Vegas Golden Knights start a four-game road trip to the east coast with a game against the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Logan Thompson will start for the Golden Knights (27-14-5), making if six starts in a row for the goalie.
Similar to the Golden Knights, the Devils (23-18-3) are missing some key players from their lineup, including Jack Hughes, Dougie Hamilton and Ondrej Palat.
They’ve also go through goalie changes, sending Akira Schmid down to Utica of the American Hockey League.
“Their record is off because when you lose key personnel,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “It’s been uneven. They probably have to figure out how to keep it out their net better and get healthy.”
