Vegas has lost six consecutive road games, outscored 26-11 during road skid.

The Vegas Golden Knights were shut out for the fifth time this season with a 3-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday in Denver.
Jiri Patera made 32 saves in place of Adin Hill, who was a late scratch.
“To see him have the game he did for us to give him that performance was upsetting,” Vegas forward Chandler Stephenson said. “He played great and gave us a chance. We didn’t do much for him. It would have been nice to give him a good game here, next time he’s in.”
Valeri Nichushkin scored twice for Colorado (27-12-3), as did Logan O'Connor. Alexandar Georgiev made 25 saves to earn his 15th shutout of his career.
“Not good enough to beat a very good hockey club. We were on our toes,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “We had pockets of some good hockey. Special teams was a problem again. I liked Patera’s game. We just didn’t do enough for him.”
The Golden Knights fell to 23-13-5 on the season, and they won't have a lot of time to reflect on the loss as they host the Boston Bruins on Thursday.
