Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel has been named to Team USA's 2026 Olympic roster.

The 28-year-old will play in the Olympics for the first time in his career after USA Hockey announced today, June 16, that Eichel was named to the 2026 U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team. Eichel is one of the first six Americans added to the preliminary roster that will be competing at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games in February. It’s the first time in Eichel’s career that he will be playing at the Olympics.

Eichel has plenty of experience playing with Team USA and most recently participated in the 4 Nations Face-Off, where he recorded four assists in four games. Prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off, Eichel represented the Americans at the World Championships, World Juniors, U-18s and the U-17s, winning a gold medal at the U-18s, a silver at the U-18s and a bronze at the World Championship.

Eichel is accompanied by Toronto Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews, Florida Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk, Ottawa Senators' Brady Tkachuk, Vancouver Canucks' Quinn Hughes and Boston Bruins' Charlie McAvoy.

After a heartbreaking overtime loss to Team Canada in the finals of the 4 Nations Face-Off, Team USA will look to redeem themselves, seeking revenge as they chase the gold medal in Italy.

The remainder of the U.S. roster is expected to be announced by early January 2026. The men’s Olympic hockey tournament begins Feb. 11, 2026, in Milan, Italy, with the gold-medal game concluding play on Feb. 22.
