Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy expects Adin Hill to be cleared; will choose between Hill or Jiri Patera to start.

Logan Thompson will miss the Vegas Golden Knights game against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday due to an illness. He did not skate Tuesday.
With Thompson out, the Golden Knights will have to decide between starting Adin Hill, who’s missed the past eight games with a lower-body injury, or Jiri Patera.
Hill has practiced all week with the team and is awaiting medical clearance before he can play.
“I believe he’ll be cleared to play. We’ll get that final determination [tomorrow],” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said.
Thompson started the last five games. He’s played in 24 games with a 2.83 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage.
