Lundqvist on Vegas repeating as Stanley Cup champions: 'I don't think so'
Rangers legend credits Vegas Golden Knights for being a hard-working team.

Vegas fans might be disappointed.
None thought Vegas would repeat.
“Will they be able to repeat? I don’t think so,” Lundqvist said. “They do have such a good core and they always work hard. From the beginning [of the organization], they’ve always been working hard. That’s never an issue with that team. They’ll be ready to go.”
As for who can compete with Vegas for the Western Conference crown, Lundqvist, McHugh and Bissonnette all thought that Los Angeles poses a large threat.
“I love their depth up the middle,” Bissonnette said. “For me, the underdog is LA and I think they’ll come out [challenging Vegas].”
McHugh also said that Colorado and Dallas are “dangerous teams” and should provide a challenge to Vegas. With that said, he expects Vegas to do well this season and challenge for the Stanley Cup.
“I know Vegas is going to be good to very good and going to be a playoff team,” McHugh said. “There’s an expectation and they’ll make it work somehow. Repeating seems like a really tall order.”
