The Winnipeg Jets ended their three-game losing streak, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1.
The Jets got the start scoring with back-to-back power play goals, making it four consecutive goals coming on the mad advantage.
Mark Scheifele recorded his 35th goal of the season, once again tying him with Toronto Maple Leafs William Nylander. Nikolaj Ehlers extended the Jets' lead with his 20th goal of the season. The 28-year-old has now scored 20 goals in back-to-back seasons and eight of his 10 seasons.
In the second period, the Jets finally got their 5-on-5 offence they have been searching for, thanks to goals from Kyle Connor and Adam Lowry. Connor recorded his 32nd of the season and Lowry scored his 12th and his first since returning from his injury.
The Jets did a great job of shutting down the Flyers, limiting them to just eight shots. Matvei Michkov ended Eric Comrie's shutout with his 20th of the season.
Comrie turned away 21 of the 22 shots he faced while Samuel Ersson allowed four goals on 27 shots.
The Jets are back in action on Friday when they take on the New Jersey Devils.
