The Florida native will join the Bulldogs for the 2026-27 campaign, pushing his NCAA commitment back a year.

After going mostly all-in for the 2025-26 OHL season, the Brantford Bulldogs are starting to rebuild their roster for the upcoming campaign.

Jason Musa is the first big signing for the team, who's coming off of a very strong USHL campaign with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, and is committed to the NCAA's University of Massachusetts.

Musa, 19, had 56 (25+31) points in 61 games with the RoughRiders last season, tied for the team lead in scoring in his second year with the team.

The Estero, Florida, native came up through the Florida Alliance youth program before heading to the Trinity-Pawling prep school and Hartford Wolfpack 16U levels. He was a USHL draft pick to Cedar Rapids, where he played up until now.

Originally, Musa was committed to join UMass for the 2026-27 campaign, but that will be pushed back a year now with this signing.

He should provide a boost to a top-six group in Brantford that will likely be losing names like Marek Vanacker, Jake O'Brien, Jett Luchanko and Caleb Malhotra next season, among other roster turnover.
