Jasper Kuhta will join the Minutemen for the 2026-27 season after impressing as an import with the 67's.

As the NCAA commitments continue to roll in, it's been a good day for the University of Massachusetts to grab OHL talent.

With Jordan Charron also announcing his commitment, Jasper Kuhta has followed, as the Ottawa 67's import will join the Minutemen this fall.

Kuhta, 19, had 32 goals and 31 assists in 62 games this past season in Ottawa, and joined Finland for the World Juniors, posting eight (2+6) points at the tournament.

The Helsinki native developed in the HIFK system in his native Finland, even playing eight Liiga games in 2024-25. But, he decided to make the switch to North America last summer, as he was selected by Ottawa in the CHL import draft.

This move has proved pretty fruitful for him, as he became a key contributor on a very good 67's side, and will now get to head to the NCAA in the fall.

Kuhta was also ranked 95th among North American skaters for the 2026 NHL draft, so there's an outside chance he gets selected as an overager this summer.
