Brantford and North Bay continue to deal as Nik Rossetto is on the move for the Bulldogs
The Brantford Bulldogs have dealt forward Nikolas Rossetto to the North Bay Battalion in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2027 OHL Priority Selection.
Rossetto, 18, missed the beginning of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery, appearing in 49 games for the Bulldogs with six goals and nine points on the year.
Bulldogs General Manager and President of Hockey Operations Spencer Hyman thanked Rossetto in a statement, calling the forward " a professional".

Rossetto, an undersized winger, has shown a potential for offensive prowess in the past in the youth circuit with 54 goals and 81 points in U15 AAA hockey with the Pittsburgh Penguins 15U program.
In the 2024-25 OHL season, his rookie year, Rossetto had nine goals and 19 points in 57 games for Brantford as a D-1 player. A healthy Rossetto, with an expanded role, could break out offensively for the Batallion with the right opportunity to do so.
This is the second trade by North Bay this week, having acquired forward Rene Van Bommel from the London Knights for a pick on Tuesday. This is Brantford third trade of the week, having moved forward Dylan Tsherna to Barrie for a pick, and acquiring forward and 2025 OHL first overall pick Kaden McGregor from the Peterborough Petes for forward Cooper Dennis.
