Kitchener will take a 3-1 series lead back home to the Aud with a chance to book their spot in the final Friday.

The Kitchener Rangers are now one win away from the Wayne Gretzky Trophy.

After dropping game three in Windsor, they came out hot in game four, and took home the split, and a 3-1 series lead.

Now, Kitchener go home for a game five they hope will end in celebration.

Here's all the action from game four.

It was the power play in the first, even strength in the second and the penalty kill in the third that helped the Kitchener Rangers to their game four win over Windsor in the Western conference final.

Dylan Edwards scored on a five-on-three advantage before Sam O'Reilly scored on the remaining power play right after to give the visitors a 2-0 lead halfway through the opening frame.

Early in the second, that lead would be extended. Cameron Arquette beat Joey Costanzo at the 3:48 mark before Carson Campbell's first goal of the postseason made the lead 4-0, which would hold through to the intermission.

Windsor would try a third-period comeback, with goals from Nathan Villeneuve and Anthony Cristoforo in the first five-and-a-half minutes of the final frame making things interesting, but a Luca Romano shorthanded dagger would end those hopes.

The Kitchener PK would step up again to really put the game away through a Gabe Chiarot shorty, before the Spits got a late consolation marker from Caden Harvey, which would leave the final score at 6-3 Rangers.

It wasn't Christian Kirsch's most standout performance, but it didn't need to be, as his 25 saves was enough to pick up the victory.

Kitchener will have a chance to close the series out and advance to the OHL final at home on Friday night.
