The Cape Breton Eagles held on for dear life in a five overtime thriller last weekend that featured three called back goals, but ultimately saw the Eagles on top with a goal from Angelo Fullerton. The goal secure the team another chance at fighting elimination tonight as well as a spot in the history books as the winner of the second longest QMJHL game. We'll see if Nashville Predators goaltender Jakub Milota will carry the momentum from his 85 save performance into this game to give the Eagles a chance to fight towards making the second round in Game 7 tomorrow.
In a surprising twist, the reigning championship winner Drummondville Voltigeurs may get upset tonight by the Halifax Mooseheads. With a .940 save percentage through five games, overager Jacob Steinman has proven to be the most valuable player for the Mooseheads -- staving most of the Voltigeurs chances and keeping the Mooseheads not only in the series, but ahead. Should the Volts' fall, that would mark the departure of one of the league's most structured teams and would bring an order of chaos to the series that remain ahead.
