    #5 Rouyn-Noranda vs #12 Cape Breton - 6 PM ET

The .500 Cape Breton Eagles take on the 8-3-3 Rouyn-Noranda Huskies at home.

This is their second game facing each other this season, with the Eagles taking the first one in shootout off the back of a 41-save night from Nashville Predators prospect Jakub Milota. The 6-foot-1 Czech netminder has a .909 save percentage over 10 games this season, since taking over the starting job from outgoing goalie Nicolas Ruccia.

Meanwhile one of the shining stars for the Huskies has been the emergence of 2026 NHL Draft eligible right winger Lars Steiner -- who was the team's first round pick in the 2024 CHL Import Draft. He's at 22 points (7+15) across 14 games, recently dropping five just a few games ago.

    #2 Drummondville vs #5 Sherbrooke - 7 PM ET

The Volts and Phoenix meet for the second time this season, with the last one occurring on open night.

Drummondville ended up taking that one, and have since gone on to carry an 11-3-1 record this season. Sam Oliver scored the first goal of the game and subsequently the season for the team. His goalscoring has been a major factor for the team, scoring 13 goals over 15 games -- scoring three against Cape Breton earlier this month.

As for Sherbrooke, a major factor for the 9-4-0 team has been the steady goaltending from 2024 Import pick Linards Feldbergs. He's posted a .939 over his last three games and a .905 over the season so far.

    #18 Gatineau vs #16 Victoriaville - 7 PM ET

At the bottom of the bowl is the game between the 2-11-1 Olympiques and the 4-9-1 Tigres -- who have yet to meet up to this point.

Gatineau's best player has undoubtly been Jeremie Minville, whose 18 points (11+7) is more than double the point totals of the team's second highest point leader. However, after a 12-point and seven game point streak which included a four-point night vs the Huskies, he's been held off the scoresheet the last two games.

As for the Tigres, the situation isn't too dissimilar with centerman Mael Lavigne (21 over 14) having a nine point lead over his next following teammate's stats. He's currently on a five game point streak, scoring two goals and five assists for seven points. Lavigne was recently ranked by NHL Central Scouting on their preliminary draft watchlist.
