After a successful first year, the QMJHL Prospects game will be back for its second annual showing later this fall.
Gatineau's Slush Puppie Centre has been chosen as the venue to host the league's top 2027 NHL draft prospects in a showcase game on Oct. 28.
Some top names who could be selected include Saint John's Alexis Joseph, Halifax's Malik L'Italien and Drummondville's Filip Kovalcik.

The CHL itself has been holding top prospect games for a while now, with different iterations of the event seeing a combined team of the best prospects from across all three leagues take on the Russian junior team, a CHL vs CHL event, and nowadays playing against the USNTDP U18 class of that given year.
