The Voltigeurs, now out of the playoffs, have begun tying loose ends -- namely naming the final pieces in their trade deadline deals.

Alongside the hefty amount of picks the Voltigeurs sent to Val-d'Or for forward Nathan Baril, the Val-d'Or Foreurs have seemed to have landed 20-year-old forward Adam Cavallin.

Cavallin had registered 30 points (17+13) across 57 games in his QMJHL rookie season. The native from Greely, ON joined the team as a free agent after two seasons with the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL

While he's proven to be a key contributer for the Volts this season, it's clear that the team thinks his play wasn't good enough to consider keeping him for his overage season -- especially with a number of core players vying for that spot including Justin Larose, Teo Besnier, Marc-Olivier Beaudry, Nathan Baril and Louis-Felix Charrois.
