The Quebec City native will join his third QMJHL team, looking to make a mark offensively.
A minor deal as the trades continue to fly in as the summer window has now been opened, the Cape Breton Eagles have acquired forward Etienne Dupere from the Cape Breton Eagles in exchange for a ninth-round pick in 2028.
Dupere, 19, played most of last season in the QCHL with the Champlain St. Lawrence Lions, where he was tied for the team lead in scoring with 47 (17+30) points in 35 games. He went pointless in four games with the Tigres.
The 6-foot-2 right winger was much more prominent in the Q in 2024-25, where he split time between Victoriaville and the Drummondville Voltigeurs. In a combined 45 games that season, he put up four goals and seven assists.

We'll see what kind of impact Dupere can make next season.
