
Despite an otherwise unassuming QMJHL career statline, Angelo Fullerton will go down in history in Cape Breton as one of the team's most iconic goal-scorers, having scored the overtime winner what is now dubbed 'The Midnight Marathon'—the 5OT playoff thriller against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
Fullerton's time in Cape Breton has unfortunately come to an end after three seasons as the prospective overager has been dealt to the Saint John Sea Dogs for a fifth round pick.
Fullerton, 20, is coming off of a 16-point (6+10), 46-game season after missing the first part of the season after he and teammates Brayden Schmitt and Lucas Romeo were involved in a car accidenty ahead of the 2024-25 season.

A former 10th round pick in 2021, Fullerton has been able to manage 40 points (19+21) through 156 games, all in Cape Breton.
The Quispamsis, NB native has yet to secure a landing spot for after his junior career.

After playing his rookie season in Cape Breton, Alexis Toussaint will be headed to Chicoutimi for his sophomore year, as the Saguenéens acquired the young centre for a 2026 sixth-round pick Sunday morning.
