    The Charlottetown Islanders are continuing to build up their team. Recently, they had bolstered the goaltending group with the addition of Vincent Gladu and helped their blueline with the signing of Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Brady Peddle.

    Now up front, the team has added another Peddle, former Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Tyler Peddle from the Saint John Sea Dogs, in exchange for a second and fifth round picks.

    Peddle, 20, is a four-year QMJHL veteran coming off of a 29-point season (15+14) through 54 games.

    Peddle is a former second overall pick by the Drummondville Voltigeurs in 2021, and has amassed 137 points (73+64) through 248 games in the QMJHL. He is a former 2023 sevemth round pick by the Columbus Blue Jackets, although the Blue Jackets had let his signing rights expire ahead of the 2025 NHL draft.

Of the 25 players named to the roster, three are QMJHL affiliated.
